The bachelor work is concerned with the placement of a child in institutional care. The theoretical part decribs the concept of dilemma, division dilemmas, manging dilemmas, dilemma intervence-not intervence and the related decisions, measures child protection and the possibility of solving social workers, within the family and in the case, where a child is at risk. The practical part of the qualitative research in the form of semi- structures interview answers the main research question which is: What procedures apply social workers awithin the dilemma intervence-not intervence?
